7-sessions, students should know at least Wedging, Centering, Getting Started.

Each session Jenny will address specific aspects in clay usage including; using tools, advanced hand building, troubleshooting your throwing, and discussing design and form. Take one class or all, the sessions are non-sequential. The aim of this class is to make you better at working with clay.

April 11: Spiral and Ram’s Head Wedging, Centering, Cylinders
April 18: Cylinder workshop (getting the cup form efficient)
April 25: Put a handle on mugs and pitchers
May 2: Trimming - bowls and cylinders
May 9: Plates & Wide Bowls
May 16: Sgraffito - carving in color
May 23: Paddle, facet & small alterations - with wheel thrown ware
